Cathy Rogers, ND, a naturopathic physician for twenty-eight years, practices body-based psychotherapy and mind-body medicine. In 2000, Dr. Rogers founded Chico Water Cure Spa in her childhood home on Dye’s Inlet near Silverdale, Washington. This natural healing spa offers direct experiences of well-being and aliveness through individual therapy, self-care groups and rejuvenating spa experiences to activate one’s resources to discover health.

Dr. Rogers’s practice is grounded in the knowledge that health has to do with becoming more oneself. Her approach integrates sensations and subtle gestures of the body with an understanding of current concepts of neuroscience to promote self-knowing awareness in and support for her clients. At Harmony Hill Cancer Retreat in Union, WA she facilitates retreats for people with cancer and their caregivers.

She leads groups for therapists and other health professionals to educate and support them in the skills and practices of being therapeutic. As an educator, Dr. Rogers has developed and taught courses in the principles and healing uses of the therapeutic relationship in naturopathic medical programs at Bastyr University in Seattle and National College in Portland and to naturopathic physicians nationally.

Dr. Rogers earned a doctorate of naturopathic medicine from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1976. She furthered her studies in psychology and health-behavior change at the University of Washington in the late 1970s. She has been in private practice as a naturopath specializing in mind-body medicine and psychotherapy since 1979.

Dr. Rogers was a leader in the development of the modern naturopathic profession as Academic Dean at Bastyr University during its accreditation in the 1980s, and as Founding Director and second President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

She currently serves on the faculty at Harmony Hill Wellness Learning Center in Union, WA. She is a contributor to Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s book, Eat Right 4 Your Baby.
