Self-Care Support Groups for Women
Facilitated by Dr. Cathy Rogers, ND

“Chico Spa offers a tranquil natural environment to reconnect with ourselves and join with others walking the path of balance. I see women coming together in groups where confidentiality creates a space to share the truth of our lives – where we are now, our goals, fears and aspirations. I imagine exploring ideas, learning new skills and feeling supported to try them out. I envision a safe place to discover fresh ways of eating, moving, relaxing and relating in order to enhance our aliveness and set ourselves free to become more of who we are.”

  • Wish you could get a handle on your energy, moods, eating, or stress?
  • You know better than anyone what needs changing. What’s in your way?
  • Are you ready to reclaim your vitality and walk with others on the path of balance?

Then this group is for you! We will tap into a variety of resources to discover health and resilience. Together we will build strong support for witnessing and accountability, to explore new ideas and overcome obstacles to taking care of ourselves.

Self-Care in a Spirit of Loving-kindness
A circle of women supporting each other is a potent tool to expand and deepen our commitment to self-care. We will increase our vitality and balance by sharing experiences – and the journey – and through learning subtle skills of body-mind communication. Cathy Rogers facilitates the groups and offers a mini-seminar each session on self-care topics.

Learn Skills of Change • Identify Obstacles to Action
Cathy believes that health is about becoming more oneself. When we are safe to explore new ideas and share the truth of our lives, we learn to practice self-compassion; dance with rhythms of change; care for others without over-functioning; calm the inner critic; and take the risk of becoming more of who we are. By naming our obstacles, we loosen their hold.

Topics Include:
decoding your body’s messages • food and mood • nourishing your brain • getting unstuck • self-regulation of emotional states • experimental approaches to eating well • stepping off the drama triangle • self-care and deprivation • calming the inner critic • the roots of resilience • perfectionism • and much, much more
